Some time ago, I made the decision to move overseas. I wanted to know what it was like to live in a different country. Besides that, I made the decision to separate myself from my worldly possessions. I would start life in my new home with only those items that I could bring with me in my luggage. I was also able to scan photos that I wanted to keep with me, and documents containing essential information.

This was amazing! In my quest to replace the bulk of my PC with a notebook that could easily be transported, I discovered that I could also eliminate the bulk of my CDs, record albums, cassettes, photographs, and paper documents, without losing any of the information they held. It seemed too good to be true. But it wasn’t — the wonder of technology made it possible. As a result, I was able to bring much more of my life with me to my new home than I had thought possible.

In the end, the move was a complete success, and it would not have been possible without the notebook.
